People love talking about how quantum computers will solve everything. But actually building one that works takes years of trial and error, even with a team of the brightest minds on the planet. When the Google Quantum team successfully built a machine whose error rate decreased as the compute power increased, this alone was worthy enough of celebration! Below is the video we made to commemorate the milestone.

ABOUT KATH

Kath Tolentino’s films have screened and won awards at Palm Springs International Shortfest, Short of the Week, Hamptons International Film Festival, and Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, among many others. She holds an MFA in Film Directing from Brooklyn College and is currently a Senior Creative and Film Director at Across the Pond, a branded content agency in San Francisco.
